Summer vibes

I love the pattern of this dress so much but the dress itself is HUGE. I’m a size 14-16. 5’8 and ‘curvy’. I brought the LARGE. Big mistake. It looks like a tent on me and I really should’ve got the M. Thank god my Mother can sew. She’s taken it in just enough to keep it loose and especially spent time on the neck line. Way too big. I’m so looking forward to wearing it once Summer arrives - the pattern is divine. But, there was no way I could’ve worn it without the alterations. For reference, I always buy the L from Lovestyle.
